There are no specific skill or quest requirements listed to start. However, you need the ability to defeat multiple enemies around level 40-46, so a Combat Level of 30+ is recommended.
You need a Rope to enter the rift and a weapon. Armour, food, and antipoison potions are highly recommended due to the combat encounters. Ranged or Magic weapons can be useful in some rooms.
You face multiple waves of level 40-46 monsters with specific mechanics in each room (weapon restrictions, illusions, multiple lives). The final boss, Tolna, is a level 40 three-headed creature that attacks simultaneously and can poison. Manageable with Combat level 30+, food, and antipoison.
After completing the quest, you gain access to Tolna's Rift, a combat training area containing the same monsters fought during the quest (Angry creatures, Fear Reapers, Confusion Beasts, Hopeless Creatures).
Note that completing the Rage room part of the quest grants 40 Attack XP automatically. Plan accordingly if you are an Attack-restricted pure.
