About Fallen From Grace

Fallen From Grace is the introductory quest to Wyrmscraig, the player-designed island found south-west of Charred Island. Beginning in the village of Auchrie, where a missing local has left the villagers wary of outsiders, you speak with Cormac and Muriel before investigating the sunstone monolith at the island's mine. After chiselling your first sunstone core and following a trail of dust to the island's south-west tip, you sail into Wyrmscraig Cavern, fight through three mountain trolls, awaken a golem with your sunstone core, and solve a combination chest puzzle to reach the ancient sunstone core. Climbing the stairs brings you face to face with the Mad Angel, a level 270 encounter with melee, spiky ball, and magic phases that demands proper prayer switching and movement. Defeating her and reporting back to Cormac completes the quest and opens up Wyrmscraig's endgame content.

How long does Fallen From Grace take?

Around 30 to 45 minutes. It is officially a Short, Experienced-tier quest, but the Mad Angel fight at the end can add time depending on your gear and how quickly you adapt to her attack rotation.

What items are needed?

A raft or skiff (not a sloop - it will not fit into Wyrmscraig Cavern), a pickaxe, a chisel, and a hammer. A bronze pickaxe and chisel can be found in the tent at the mining site during the quest. Combat gear, food, and prayer potions are strongly recommended for the trolls and the Mad Angel.

Are the skill requirements boostable?

The quest requires 62 Sailing, 60 Crafting, 53 Mining, and 47 Runecraft, plus completion of Pandemonium. We recommend having these levels naturally - if you are short, we can train them for you as part of the order.

How hard is the Mad Angel?

She is level 270 and hits hard. The fight uses three mechanics: pray Melee and move behind her when she winds her sword back slowly, run to the marked landing spot when she throws a spiky ball, and swap to Protect from Magic for her blue light attack. A Fire Cape level of PvM ability is roughly the intended benchmark. Our team handles it for you.

What does this quest unlock?

Access to the repeatable Mad Angel boss, which drops Hallowfell (a 75 Attack two-handed sword that cleaves up to two extra targets), Sunstone Mining and Golem Crafting as a Glassblowing alternative at 60+ Crafting, plus the caverns for the new Slayer Master Mortimer.

Does this unlock Slayer Master Mortimer?

It unlocks access to his caverns. To actually use Mortimer as a Slayer Master you also need 100 Combat and 70 Slayer, or 99 Slayer regardless of Combat level. We can boost those levels for you separately.

Can Ironmen use this service?

Yes. Ironmen will need to provide the raft or skiff and their own combat supplies for the trolls and the Mad Angel. All quest items such as the pickaxe and chisel are obtained in-game during the quest.
