Preparing for Your Infernal Cape Service: Gear & Stats Guide (Tons of XP)

The Infernal Cape is one of the most prestigious items in Old School RuneScape, a true symbol of PvM mastery. But the Inferno itself is brutally challenging, demanding near-perfect execution and significant time investment. That's why many players turn to a reliable Infernal Cape service like ours at Tons of XP.

While our expert players handle the difficult waves and Zuk fight for you (always 100% hand-done, no bots!), having the right gear and stats on your account is crucial for a smooth, fast, and successful service completion. This guide outlines the recommended setup.

While our pros are highly skilled, better stats always make the run safer and more consistent.

  • Minimum Requirements (Strict):
    • 75+ Defence
    • 94+ Magic (for Vengeance and Blood Barrage effectiveness)
    • 75+ Ranged
    • 77+ Prayer (for Augury/Rigour)
    • 70+ Hitpoints (Higher is strongly recommended)
  • Recommended Stats (Ideal for faster/smoother runs):
    • 90+ Defence
    • 99 Magic
    • 99 Ranged
    • 90+ Hitpoints
    • 90+ Prayer (for higher prayer bonus & duration)

Note: If your stats are slightly below recommended, the service is often still possible, but may take longer or require more supplies, potentially affecting the price slightly. Contact our support via live chat to discuss your specific stats!

Gear Setups: From Budget to Best-in-Slot

The better your gear, the easier and faster the Inferno completion will be. We categorize setups, but generally, prioritize Ranged accuracy and damage, Magic accuracy, and Prayer bonus.

    • Special Attack: Eldritch Nightmare Staff (spec) / Zaryte Crossbow (spec)

Important Notes:

  • Imbued Rings: Ensure rings like Archer's or Suffering are imbued via Nightmare Zone or Soul Wars.
  • Ava's Device: Required. Assembler is best.
  • Supplies: We typically use the supplies available on your account (Runes for Barrage, Darts, Scales, Vials etc.). Ensure you have a good stock, or discuss supply costs with us. A cash stack for unexpected supply needs is helpful.
  • Bank PIN: We will NEVER ask for your Bank PIN. Ensure any required gear is in the inventory or easily accessible without needing the PIN.
  • Account Access: We only need your login email/username and password. We highly recommend changing your password after service completion.

Preparing Your Account

  1. Organize Gear: Have the agreed-upon gear ready and repaired in your inventory or bank (easily accessible).
  2. Stock Supplies: Ensure sufficient runes (Blood/Death/Soul/Water), darts/arrows, scales, stamina potions, brews, restores etc. are available. Discuss specifics with our team.
  3. Disable Bank PIN: Temporarily disable your bank PIN only if necessary to access gear/supplies needed for the run. Re-enable it immediately after. Never share the PIN itself.
  4. Authenticator: Keep your authenticator active, but be ready to provide the code when our player logs in.
  5. Communicate: Inform us if you are on a Slayer Task for TzHaar.

Having the right setup ensures our pro players can get your Infernal Cape quickly and safely. We focus on 100% manual completion for your peace of mind.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q1: What happens if I don't have the recommended gear? A: The service might still be possible with lower-tier gear, but it will likely take longer and may have a slightly higher chance of failure (requiring a restart, usually at no extra cost unless supplies run critically low). It's best to discuss your specific gear with our support team beforehand.

Q2: Do I need to provide the supplies? A: Typically, yes. Our service cost covers the player's time and expertise. We use the supplies available on your account. If you lack certain essential supplies (like runes or darts), we can discuss options, which might include factoring supply costs into the price or you purchasing them beforehand.

Q3: How long does the Infernal Cape service usually take? A: A single run inside the Inferno typically takes 2-4 hours depending on gear and RNG. The total service time (including setup, potential breaks, etc.) can vary. We aim for completion within 24-48 hours of starting, often much faster with good gear.
