Skotizo CAs are generally Medium/Hard tier. The challenges involve efficiently dealing with the Awakened Altars (disabling them quickly or killing Skotizo while they are active for 'Demonic Weakening'), using specific weapons (demonbane), or achieving fast kill times.
Dark Totem pieces (Base, Middle, Top) are dropped by monsters within the Catacombs of Kourend. You combine the three pieces to form a Dark Totem, which is consumed upon entering Skotizo's lair. You must obtain these yourself.
This requires killing Skotizo without activating (hitting) any of the four Awakened Altars during the fight. This makes the fight harder as the Altars provide passive effects that drain prayer and stats while active. It requires high DPS to kill Skotizo quickly.
