No skill reqs beyond combat stats. High Crush Melee weapon (Verac's/Ursine Mace excellent) and gear is standard. Need to handle his Earthquake AoE, lightning, skeleton dog summons, and potential True Form mechanics (in rebuilt version). CAs focus on speed, dog management, or avoiding damage. MINIMAL RISK ONLY! A strong Crush weapon is vital (Verac's Flail ideal due to prayer ignore, Ursine Chainmace very good). Cheap Melee gear (Monk robes, Proselyte). Salve amulet (ei) boosts damage significantly. Escape teleports critical. NO EXPENSIVE ITEMS.
The extreme PKer threat makes them incredibly hard. Vet'ion's earthquake and dogs require focus. Perfection/speed tasks are near impossible if PKers constantly interrupt. CAs often involve efficiently killing dogs or surviving phases.
Calvar'ion is the weaker, single-plus combat version in a lower-level Wilderness cave. Vet'ion CAs *must* be done at the original, deep multi-combat Wilderness boss.
Vet'ion summons two Hellhounds. They must be killed before Vet'ion can be significantly damaged again. Using Salve amulet (ei) helps kill them faster. Managing them efficiently is key to several CAs.
