🤔 Frequently Asked Crazy Archaeologist Questions
Kills are 100% manual. The boss is in the Wilderness (Level ~22), so there's always a risk from PKers, though generally lower than deep Wildy. We advise using low-risk gear.
Ranged is preferred due to his low Ranged defence. Use Protect from Missiles prayer. Watch out for his 'Rain of Knowledge' special attack (explosive books) and move away.
Low-risk Ranged gear like Black d'hide and a Rune or Dragon Crossbow is typical. Always use Protect Item prayer and have reliable escape teleports ready.
The Odium Shard 2 (~1/256), Malediction Shard 2 (~1/256), and Fedora (~1/1000) are based on OSRS RNG. We cannot guarantee these drops. We guarantee the *number of kills*.
