It's a short subquest, usually taking 15-25 minutes. It mainly involves getting ingredients, talking to NPCs in Falador and under White Wolf Mountain, and potentially killing one low-level monster.
You need to have started Recipe for Disaster (completed Lumbridge Guide part) and completed Fishing Contest and Cook's Assistant. There are no skill requirements to start this part.
Bucket of milk, Pot of flour, Egg, Bowl of water (or just bowl + access to water source), 4+ Asgarnian ales, 306+ Coins (less with Ring of Charos(a)/gifts), and Gloves (Ice gloves recommended, obtainable from Heroes' Quest + 50 Mining/Smithing).
Talk to a barmaid in Falador's Rising Sun Inn. After paying/convincing her, she reveals the secret: simply add 1 coin to a regular Asgarnian Ale.
You need gloves to pick it up from the table without taking damage. To cool it instantly, you must wear Ice Gloves when picking it up. Alternatively, wear any other gloves to pick it up, then kill an Icefiend (Level 13) on Ice Mountain while the cake is in your inventory. You can also bank the hot cake and wait several hours for it to cool naturally.
Only if you don't have Ice Gloves. In that case, you must kill a Level 13 Icefiend with the hot rock cake in your inventory to cool it.
You can buy more from Rohak. Players often use them with Dharok's set or in the Nightmare Zone to keep their Hitpoints at 1 for maximum damage output, as eating the cake damages you.
Yes. Ironmen need ingredients (milk/egg/flour from shops/Culinaromancer chest/farming/drops), ales (buy/Trouble Brewing), coins, and gloves. Ice Gloves require completing Heroes' Quest and having 50 Mining/Smithing or getting them as a rare drop.
