The Dig Site quest grants access to the archaeological Digsite east of Varrock. Started by speaking to the Examiner in the Varrock Museum's Exam Centre, you must first prove your archaeological competence by passing a simple exam. Once qualified, you head to the Digsite and learn various techniques from the workmen: panning for Opals/Jade/Topaz, using a trowel, and identifying specimens. The final task involves finding a Special cup, using Nitroglycerin (obtained with Herblore skill) to reveal a hidden area, and retrieving an ancient Stone tablet for the Examiner.
