Frequently Asked Questions
It's a short quest, typically taking 20-40 minutes. It involves travelling through Trollheim, fighting or bypassing trolls, and navigating the Stronghold.
You must complete the 'Death Plateau' quest. An Agility level of 15 is needed for an action during the quest (boostable). There are no requirements to start.
You need Climbing boots (buyable for 12 coins during the quest path). Combat gear, food, and potentially prayer potions are highly recommended, especially if not safespotting.
You fight 'Dad' (Level 101) and a Troll General (Level 113). Both hit hard but can be easily safespotted using Ranged, Magic, or a Halberd. Without safespotting, 43 Prayer for Protect from Melee is advised. Two Level 71 guards can be fought or pickpocketed (requires 30 Thieving, boostable).
It grants access to the Troll Stronghold and Trollheim areas, which contain useful resources and monsters. Crucially, it unlocks the Law Altar, allowing you to craft Law runes, and provides a route to the God Wars Dungeon.
Yes. The only required item is Climbing boots (12 coins or drop). Ironmen must provide their own combat gear and supplies for the fights.
