  • 1x Eternal boots + 4,000 Demon tears

The key feature is that these upgrades can be applied one at a time. This allows for a gradual progression. For example, you can first add your Primordial boots to create Avernic treads (pr), which will then possess the enhanced stats of the Primordials. You can continue adding the other boots as you acquire them.

Important Note: The treads become untradeable once you begin the upgrade process. You can revert them to get the component boots back, but the 12,000 Demon Tears will be lost permanently.

Once you have combined the base treads with all three Cerberus boots and 12,000 Demon Tears, you create the Avernic treads (max). This final form is the undisputed best-in-slot boot for every combat style.
