The Gameplay: A Sinking Ship
The Fishing Trawler is a 10-minute trip where everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. Your goal as a team is to prevent the boat from sinking.
- The Net: The giant fishing net at the back of the boat will break. It must be repaired with rope.
- Leaks: The boat will spring leaks. These must be plugged with swamp paste. This is the highest priority task.
- Water: As the boat takes on water, it must be bailed out with bailing buckets.
The Contribution Meter
Your personal success is tracked by a contribution meter. To be eligible for the rewards, you must have at least 50 contribution points.
- You gain contribution by performing any of the repair tasks: patching leaks, fixing the net, or bailing water.
- Best Strategy: The fastest way to gain contribution is to continuously patch the leaks that appear on the side of the boat. This is the most critical job and rewards the most points. Simply find a leak, patch it, and wait for the next one.
The Rewards: The Angler's Outfit
At the end of the 10-minute trip, you can collect your rewards from the net. The amount of fish you get depends on how well the team did, but the real prize is the outfit.
Angler's Outfit
: This is the reason you're here. It's a four-piece set consisting of theAngler hat
,Angler top

pet from this minigame.
Ironman Strategy
For Ironmen, getting the Angler's Outfit is a high priority, as the 2.5% XP boost is a massive advantage over the long Fishing grind.
- Gathering Swamp Paste: This is the main challenge. You can either make it yourself with flour and swamp tar, or buy it from the charter crew shops.
- The Grind: The strategy is the same. Head to World 370, stock up on swamp paste, and focus on plugging leaks until you have the full set. The fish you get at the end are also a great source of early-game food.
